Kim
Kim was born in Villa Park, California. Yes there are no hospitals there she was born at home and was delivered by her dad! She is the middle of three daughters. Her parents are both from Guatemala and a few years after Kim was born they decided to move down to Guatemala. She spent a few years there going to school until about the sixth grade until her family decided to move back to sunny Southern California.
Kim loves dancing! She will dance and move her hips to almost any type of beat! From Salsa, bachata, Tahitian, hip-hop, native latin America dances and anything and everything in between! She is a certified scuba diver and loves the beach and all the vivid and wonderful life that exists underwater. She has had the wonderful opportunity to be underwater with turtles, dolphins, and sharks! She loves traveling and learning about different cultures, after all she is a mutt with several ethnicities including Chinese and Spaniard.
After high school, she moved from sunny California to snowy Utah to go to BYU. She graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science and is now in nursing school, following the paths of her parents who are both in the medical field.
Jon
Jon was born in San Jose, California. His parents moved less than six months after he was born to Manteca California, a town that will sometimes show up on a national map. Save yourself time, though, and just Google Map it. He lived there for his first 18 years. He wrestled in High School all four years. The last two years of school, he spent time and took classes on web design. After graduation, he was upset that he had to wait a week to move out of the house. The week after graduation, he left home and California for Utah to work and save money. After working for a year in Utah doing tech support for a web design and marketing company, he left again to serve a two year L.D.S. mission in Salta, Argentina (you'll really want to use Google Maps for that one). There, he learned Spanish, which was hard and ironic after flunking Spanish 1 twice in High School. People asked him how he learned the language and his response was "If I don't speak, I don't eat!"After the mission, he came "home" to Utah, where his mom had moved while he was gone. He got a job at the same company that he worked for before the mission, this time teaching people to make and market their own sites. He earned a Bachelor's of Science from Utah Valley University in Internet Technologies with an emphasis in Internet Technology.
He is now a web designer and has worked with dozens of companies to either rebrand themselves or start from the ground up.

| The Night We Met |
We met on June 5th, 2009, a day before Jon hit being home from his mission for 2 years. We met at the Salsa Chocolate club in Provo. Kim loves to dance. Almost any type. She does Salsa, Meringue, Bachata, Native Guatamalan, Hawaiian, Tahitian and anything else that she can learn. Jon can't move his hips to save his life, but pretends to know what he's doing. It had been about a year since Jon had gone to the club. He used to go a lot more when Jimmy and Katie lived in Provo, but since they had moved he hadn't gone.
One Friday at work, a mutual friend told Jon that she and a group of friends were going to the Salsa club and invited him to go. He tagged along and showed up late for the free lesson. They put everyone in a big circle and had the guys rotate so you had a new dance partner every couple minutes. Near the end, Kim and Jon became dance partners. Jon was pretty much useless the rest of the night and thought his legs would give out any moment. Kim kept thinking who is this guy thinking he can dance?
After the club, the group went out to 7-11 and grabbed some slurpies. Jon worked up enough courage to ask Kim for her number right before he left and called a few days later. For some reason, Kim accepted to go on a date and the rest is history.
