One month update!
I can't believe how fast a whole month flew by already! We have learned a lot in just one short month since we brought her from the hospital. I'm glad my mom came out I stay with us for a little while! She was an angel she taught me a lot about taking care of the baby and she took care of me while I was trying to recover. It was nice to not have to worry about chores and meals! She made sure I ate for every single meal and she cooked for me all of recipes that I love! I really wished I lived closer to my family, I miss them a lot. I haven't been able to get much sleep since baby has been born. I take care of her at night and Jon sleeps through the baby crying and waking up at nights, we decided this would be best so Jon can be rested and ready for work in the mornings and he can help me with the baby when he gets home from work. No one said I would feel like a zombie after giving birth to Emery, a lot of it probably has to do with me trying to recover and being on iron supplements for a whole month to try to recover the blood I lost. I haven't felt this tired and so sleep deprived in my entire life! I hope baby will get more sleep as she grows and I can start feeling like a human again. Emery had her first bath with us a few days after the hospital and she totally hated it she cried the whole time below is a video and a picture of her hating her bath. It has been a challenge trying to get used to nursing her it was extremely painful the first few days that it brought me to tears and I was just ready to give up and switch her to formula. Two of Jon's cousins really helped me a ton by giving me advice and a few helpful tips that really helped a lot and after the milk started to come down it was on the third day after baby was born it made feelings so much easier. We where worried because she wasn't having dirty or wet diapers two days after brining her home do we took her to her pediatrician and she had lost too much weight so they told us to feed her with a feeding tube and supplement with formula until milk started to come down. We where both worried but gratefully once the milk came down she did really well with breastfeeding and started to gain weight by her two week appointment she had gained the weight she had lost and dr. said she was doing great. Emery really likes her swing and sometimes it is easier for her to fall asleep in it. This first month has gone by really fast and we have learned a lot about how to care for her and I still have thousands of hours of sleep to catch up on...

Fishing on the Fourth
Jesus brought his friend James up. He said that James would go fishing with me while Jesus sat on the shore studying and reading. So I only got two kayaks.
Then this happened. Jesus didn't want to be alone on the shore. As you can see, these are really small kayaks.
