Okay so to all our Utah friends I have been trying to find ways in which to save money! If you know me, I like to save as much money as possible on literally ANYTHING I buy! I'm not an impulsive buyer and yes I do my research on things that I want before I go out and buy them (this includes all sorts of internet research). Once a friend told me that I should make a business out of it, because I know how to find great deals on just about anything! Just a little tip on saving a bit of money on groceries I started doing price matching for groceries at Walmart. They are great, they will give you the same deal on anything! Just bring in the ads that you get in the mail during the week and they will price match them for you. I tried this out at a local Target here in Orem and they do not do it on groceries but will do it on anything else that can be scanned. I haven't quite gotten into all the coupon craziness quite yet but I'm slowly learning about them. Both Walmart and Ridley's have a double coupon tuesday. Here are some rules that go along with it...
1. No price matching and doubling together. You will need to pick one or the other.
2. Coupons will be doubled up $1.00:
$0.25 coupon = $0.50 off
$0.50 coupon = $1.00 off
$0.75 coupon = $1.00 off
$1.00 coupon = $1.00 off (No doubling $1 off coupons.)
3. To double a coupon, the product being purchased must be “price matched” by deducting the face value of the coupon (up to $0.50). Then the coupon will be scanned at full value. Hence, the coupon is “doubled”!
You do have to have a bit of patience though because the lines do tend to get kinda long specially if you go during the weekends.
